I had a fun halloween last night.  I came home from school around 7 and I brought some candy home for the trick or treaters but luckily we didn't use it all so I get to eat it or return it.

I got to see all sorts of neat costumes.  My favorite one that I got to see was a little boy in a clone trooper costume from Star Wars.

It wasn't so bad handing out candy because I was playing a computer game with some people online in between the doorbell rings!  It's much more exciting competing online with some form of real life impediment because it makes it much more of a challenge.

Ha!  Classes were fun today because I sat in a Humanities study class for 45 minutes before I realized I wasn't where I was supposed to be.  But, it's all good because my professor said I didn't miss much hehe.

I had a lot of fun today just kind of going off by myself, exploring MSUM and all of its crazy buildings that no one uses and I met all sorts of crazy people.  I even saw one guy in a suit riding around on an electric scooter in the basement of the arts center while I was down there using the computers.  CRAZY I TELL YOU!  Oh well, he was cool because I stopped him and we chatted for a while which was fun!

I hope your school year is going well too!

Tim, Dustin, Devin and I went on an adventure to the Red Raven in downtown Fargo last night. It's some sort of underground cofee shop with plenty of room to hang out. We found a cozy spot in a room with books and a music room where they had some rap playing lightly in the background which was pretty cool.

I felt like ice cream, not coffee, so I ended up munching on a drumstick ice cream cone, until we spotted an unnatended chessboard behind us. We quickly rearranged ourselves at the new table and played a long game of 2 on 2 chess. It was funny because towards the end of the game they kept calling out, "Checkmate!", and then me and Tim would find a move to protect our king, but it was just delaying the inevitable because Dustin and Devin won!! Lol, it was fun anyways.

Gosh, my mom's brother in the Phillipines died of a heart attack tonight. =( Pray for her and her family please.

On a much lighter note I'm slowly becoming a better person over the summer and I'm really accomplishing things in my life that I have been meaning to get around to, like being more involved with my family, being a good buddy to my friends and getting more organized in lots of different ways.

I'm there to comfort my mom, hang out with my brother and I've been being nicer to him and now I actually communicate with my sister by chatting through email and xanga.

Life seems to be better when you nourish the relationships that you take for granted. I think I could get used to this.

Currently Listening
The Rising Tied
By Fort Minor

I'm addicted to downloading music now that I have a nifty little program called Soulseek.  It makes it terribly easy to download entire cds and pretty soon my external hardrive will be filled with glorius tunes.

I was really skeptical about Mike Shinoda's band, Fort Minor, but I downloaded their cd and now I can't stop listening to it, so I would highly reccomend picking up the cd next time you're out at the store.

Edit: Yes, I realize downloading music is bad because I don't like to steal money from good bands that deserve it!  I like to support my bands so I usually buy what I like after previewing them.
